Comment by NativeInterface on January 8, 2013 at 22:53 Nah i agree with that, i think you're right. He has a lot of knowledge, he just cant express it in any tactful way, and it kind of discredits people with the same viewpoint as him. And i think his research has been driving him a bit mad. Understandable. I don't think many of us could handle being in his shoes for very long.
Comment by Barb Dwyer on January 8, 2013 at 22:43 His delivery and tactics make him appear foolish. Bottom line. This display did nothing to educate. This sideshow did nothing to bring understanding and nothing to persuade anyone who might have been 'iffy' about the whole gun thing to any conclusion other than this guy is utterly unwatchable. Provocation and sensationalizing is not the sane way to express a point. Although I feel this is whole thing is just some wierd version of dumb and dumber, this did nothing to help. Just my opinion.
Comment by NativeInterface on January 8, 2013 at 22:33 The other side of the gun control argument? Alex Jones is anti-tyranny. Disarmament of the population is what tyrannies does. Hitler used a shooting as an argument to disarm the jews. Hitler even said "The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms."
Comment by Barb Dwyer on January 8, 2013 at 22:24 Alex Jones is a liability imo. I honestly wish he'd take the other side it'd help. What an embarassment.
Comment by NativeInterface on January 8, 2013 at 22:15 I'm starting to think mainstream media people actually deserves his raging rants, because as you noticed Piers still ended the interview by asking him about 9/11 which was an obvious attempt at getting the public to think that all his points are invalid because he's a conspiracy theorist.
But if Alex had been able to chill out for a bit, he simply could have pointed out that we don't need the constitution to grant us rights to have guns. It's the simple truth that we own our lives, and thus are all personally responsible to preserve it. If someone else decides that you are not allowed to defend yourself, then you don't have full ownership and responsibility of your life anymore. You are a slave, who have been forced by laws and threats of arrests and violence to outsource your thinking and safety to an incompetent police force.
I would never want to rule over a anyone's choices to defend himself or herself or his/her family. Because i don't own their lives, they do. And i am pretty sure that this is why Gandhi fought against gun control laws.

I was just endiing a campaign in Michigan against our Governor, and wondered what more was out there, what more can I do to help make my country the place I used to love, when I stumbled across a thing called Livestream, where people with the same purpose (supposedly) or like mindness could come together, chat, discuss, plan, and act and I was to say the least, excited. I started chatting and made so many friends and it was then I realized, that I had been wrapped up in my own small…
