Occupy may win through fairly quickly - on the other hand it could be a long haul - we all know the future holds many challenges so I am wondering how many of us outreach to young children?
Are we preparing them for a sustainable future ?
Are we preparing them for community support and caring for one another and the planet?
Are we helping them to broaden their minds and learn unity / acceptance of diversity ?
What sort of moral compass are we introducing them to?
They need to learn these things through stories and play with nurturing adults, but how many find time to give to them, to nurture them.?
As a child I was ill a lot and a kindly neighbour gave me an old and beautifully illustrated book to read,it was an early edition of Aesops Fables - the stories and illustrations were beautiful, it was fun to read,my mind was a sponge then and I absorbed many of the messages in the stories. It gave me a moral compass and a deeper understanding, without the fear that some religious tales instil..

I was just endiing a campaign in Michigan against our Governor, and wondered what more was out there, what more can I do to help make my country the place I used to love, when I stumbled across a thing called Livestream, where people with the same purpose (supposedly) or like mindness could come together, chat, discuss, plan, and act and I was to say the least, excited.
