I can only speak for myself - though I'm aware some (of the we) are also - doing what I/we can to facilitate such self-sustaining projects. It is why I support livestream, this website, the mumble meetings and other behind-the-scenes platforms designed to offer unifying facilities, enabling the "we" to work toward such goals.
What the rest of the "we" do is, of course, their decision and responsibility. I would advise proactivity rather than wait until facing the same plight of those greeks who are now forced to react.
