A Quick "Heads Up" People...
Someone's trying to scam this site for email addresses.
I got an email today from the occupii site relating to someone called Miss Anne (anne.desmond24@yahoo.co.uk).
The email said she'd left a comment on my page.The comment text was listed in the email and basically said she liked my page and would I respond telling her more about me then she'd send a photo.
On checking my page I found the comment wasn't here on the site at all and the user Miss anne does not exist! I googled her email address and found hundreds of instances of the same email text from various different sites.
This is obviously a ploy to try and get people to respond via email, thus giving him/her their email address and any other info the victim chooses to divulge so:
if you get this message please delete it and don't respond!

thanks UKAnon, I'm a computer engineer / tech nerd type, tried to put the post in laymans terms so people understood what was going on without me getting too tech-talky (which I have a bad habit of doing sometimes!)

Hi DJ Messy, yes, we do get phishers and spammers signing up daily unfortunately, and I, among other admins try to keep on top of them as and when we're alerted - hence why their accounts has now "disappeared". ;)
Thanks for bringing this up. This particular phisher (of emails) created no less than four identical user acounts (using variations of the yahoo email account) earlier today. I deleted them all when I was made aware.
Stay vigilant people - occupy is a huge draw for email harvesters, please be wary of ANY site or person asking for your email account or other details.
