If the microcosmic status of individuals manifest within a system
Cannot change and grow and morph together
Without judgment
Without condemnation
Without exclusion

Then the macrocosm cannot be expected to reflect what is not there.
A cohesive whole cannot be obtained.

If self government does not have as its priority
Love of Growth and learn to love and actively seek change
Without fear of self examination
Without fear of examination of conflicting structure
Internal and external
Then nothing further can be expected to manifest
In a positive, living way.

This is pride.
Short and simple.
Pride is the detractor of growth.
Pride hides the light.
Pride freezes us in our tracks
and strikes fear
of what we might be reflecting
to other humans around us.

Not ego.

Ego is so misunderstood in this pseudo society
Of self –ordained armchair psychologists we mire ourselves in.
Ego exists to keep us from walking off a cliff
while we bliss out at the Earth and Her beauty.
It was intended to warn us of danger because
Danger exists – to make life precious.
Safety - does not exist in Nature.
that - is a human construct.
A human expectation
a human myth.

Ego exists – to warn us of danger.
It is not the camera.
It was never meant to be
The psychological construct
That perceived experience.
Nor was it ever intended to be
The cliché’ label cast around from face to face
A word without meaning other than separation
A label without meaning that sticks to everyone
Who says what someone doesn’t want to hear…

It is not the camera that we view this world through.

The personality is the camera.
The personality is not the ego.
The false projection – the mask – is ego.

It is pride that says to us ‘all will be lost’
Its pride that makes us fear death
As if something someone says or thinks
Can kill…
The only thing afraid of dying
Is the lie.
When the reality is that the only thing to be lost – is the falsehood of image.

The truth we might be running from
May be nothing more than that which we have imagined others see.

Pride.
The downfall of a species.

We are behind the mask.
We are not the mask.
The ‘we’ that we really are.
The ‘we’ that was manifest here
To touch this world and others
With beauty.
With love.
With hope.

We have got to step back behind our eyes
And make the changes we need to make
Fearlessly
Without judgment
Without condemnation
On our own time
As we can
From the inside … out.

We must allow others that same grace
To learn as they must
And let them be human
As we profess to demand for ourselves.

If we’re too far ahead –
then it is our task to wait.
But to wait actively
Wait while continuing
to love growth and change
From the inside out.

Pride.
That’s all this is.

Pride says ‘you must change for me’
Ego says ‘you must see me this way’
Self says ‘I am all of this and more’

It’s all a matter or perspective.

And perhaps ... connection.
