Corporatisation, what has been corporatised out of our culture. How do we combat/ change that ?
Has exploration and creativity been corporatised out of our culture ? It also begs the question what else might have been corporatised out - that is a fascinating and thought provoking question ! It might be helpful and enliightening to get a global perspective.on this ?
I notice that the discussion forum is not receiving a lot of attention here , could we pull…

Its not about love, the hippy type concept, its more about respect. Respect each others abilities, or lack of them. Respect each others level of knowledge, we all began knowing nothing of this world after all is said and done.Respect disabilities, mental and physical, help them be able. Acts of random kindness could become acts of constant kindness, hows that for a concept, dosent look good Ack but does you good and everyone around you. You dont have to love…

independent - the third Venezuelan party among the political powers of the world
Independent: not supporting the officialism nor the opposition but fighting for a common ground for everyone...
long ago, we, those following the health of Chavez or the emptiness he left, are in a kind of static transition of power or the healing process of a combined effort, to keep Venezuela as independent as when it was centuries ago.
today, there's seem that the fights Chavez won and the ones he lost are no more than a mask, a personification of a position of those who…

Do you believe that you are American, British, Russian, Australian or of any other nationality? Do you believe that you are catholic, muslim, buddist, protestant, jewish, or of any other religion? Do you believe that you are conservative, liberal, marxsist, republican, democrat or any other political persuasion. Do you believe that any class, race or colour of skin is, or should be superior? Does that belief cause any other being harm?…

What is a meal worth?
What is a meal worth?
One meal a day can keep you and your children alive, one good meal can sustain you healthily. Can you place a value on that? The western world does so in a merciless way, the poor of other nations are forced by the global corporations, to produce an abundance of food for the developed nations. Developed being those with the biggest guns and muscle. Slavery was never…

Busting the Myth of the Self Made Man
The myth of the self made man (this is the term used, but is equally applicable to women) is perhaps of of the most insidious idea which is perpetuated as part and parcel of the neoliberal ideal. If we are to develop a society that places cooperation over competition and contribution over reward, then we must bust open the myth of the self made man.…

In the Garden - Coping with both Deluge and Drought !
The weather can be so unpredictble and changeable. How do we cope with these extremes ? I have found a method that helps my plants survive both drought and flood, plants wilt in drought and the roots suffer when the ground is waterlogged. So we need to plan ahead.
Soil that is walked on and compacted will not drain and water runs off not into it.so make beds no wider than you can comfortably reach the centre from the paths and don't walk on your beds
Organic matter makes humus…

No Ceiling
No Ceiling ~ Eddie Vedder
Comes the morning
When I can feel
That there's nothing
Left to be concealed
Moving on,
a scene surreal
Know my heart will never
Never be far from here
Sure as I'm breathing
Sure as I'm sad
I'll keep this wisdom
In my flesh
I leave here believing
More than I had
And there's a reason I'll be
Reason I'll be back
As I walk
the hemisphere
Got my wish
to up…

Tened cuidado, no son muy fáciles de atrapar;
Las niñas tristes y solas de cualquier lugar.
Además de oscura sus almas; las alas de metal
Cubren…

I was just endiing a campaign in Michigan against our Governor, and wondered what more was out there, what more can I do to help make my country the place I used to love, when I stumbled across a thing called Livestream, where people with the same purpose (supposedly) or like mindness could come together, chat, discuss, plan, and act and I was to say the least, excited. I started chatting and made so many friends and it was then I realized, that I had been wrapped up in my own small…
