After ten years caring for my mum at home she is now in extended respite care because her needs became more than any one individual could manage. the last night sitter we had at home recorded my mum got out of bed 28 times during the night she was awake at night regularly and though i could manage the days it was impossible to cope without sleep, they ony allocated 2 nights per month for a night sitter and that really was inadequate, in the end i was so sleep deprived i had to concede…
