Occupy Media Survey said… Hey Pear Shaped Universe
My name is TJ, and I am working with a team on a research project titled "Occupy Media Survey!" at Uppsala University in Sweden. The leading professor on the project, Christian Fuchs is also the chair of the European Sociological Association's Research Network for Communications and Media Research.
The project attempts to answer some of the following questions: What is the role of social media like Occupii, Facebook and Twitter in occupations and protests? Was the Arab spring a "Twitter and Facebook" revolution? How does the Occupy movement use social media? Is it a social media movement or something different?
Therefore we are conducting the OccupyMedia! Survey. We invite some users of Occupii to participate in it, and would be extremely happy if you could take 15 minutes time in order to help us find out what role social media play in contemporary protests:

hey there! Thanks for leaving me an email. I wasn't sure whether we'd see each other again since my internet service went down which is quite normal here in Hawaii. They usually do maintenance during the slowest times of internet usage. I'll try to come on possible today and we can get the conference thing working. I believe the software I was using was pretty good since it's very easy for guests to join but simply clicking a link. But I just need to get my sound working properly.
