The questions about social media use are intended to find out if social media play any role or if it is more interpersonal communication (face to face) that matters. There is a lot of research going on about social media use in protests, but the actual role of social media has not been clarified. You are not the first one to raise the fear that this survey is conducted by the police in order to monitor activists. But it definitely isn't, no need for a conspiracy assumption, but I fully understand that activists have such doubts and fears, given police violence at protests, etc. We are conducting this survey only for academic purposes (the interest in studying social media), there is no funding behind it, except for the work time at university, I hope having a look at the kind of work I am doing can assure you of that. If you have more questions, then please simply contact me.

Too long. Too many specific questions about this application in this specific place. I bounced. I flet like I may be setting myself up with a conspiracy to break the law charge.
What possible use would all that specific data about which social tools we used, be? Other than a stupid cop organization that doesn't know anything about the social networking - or a marketing research company.Lastly, you identify yourself as, "a group of researchers in Sweden". Please indicate who you work for.
