I think that there should be a major day of action in DC on January 20th, 2013, during the inaugural speech my the president. There will be millions there, but if we start planning now, we could get the action large enough to make an impact on the crowd. The corporate media won't be able to hide that, and the police would be outnumbered on the largest scale we've seen yet. #J20See More

Occupy Media Survey said… Hey Jacob
My name is TJ, and I am working with a team on a research project titled "Occupy Media Survey!" at Uppsala University in Sweden. The leading professor on the project, Christian Fuchs is also the chair of the European Sociological Association's Research Network for Communications and Media Research.
The project attempts to answer some of the following questions: What is the role of social media like Occupii, Facebook and Twitter in occupations and protests? Was the Arab spring a "Twitter and Facebook" revolution? How does the Occupy movement use social media? Is it a social media movement or something different?
Therefore we are conducting the OccupyMedia! Survey. We invite some users of Occupii to participate in it, and would be extremely happy if you could take 15 minutes time in order to help us find out what role social media play in contemporary protests:
