Hello Harry, My name is Christian Fuchs, I am professor at Uppsala University and chair of the European Sociological Association's Research Network for Communications and Media Research. What is the role of social media like Occupii, Facebook and Twitter in occupations and protests? Was the Arab spring a "Twitter and Facebook" revolution? How does the Occupy movement use social media? Is it a social media movement or something different? We are a group of researchers at Uppsala University in Sweden that is headed by me and that is keen to find out answers to these questions. Therefore we conduct the OccupyMedia! Survey.
