Wow - time flies... hello Occupii! In the last few weeks, I've been roaming around looking for new resources / ways to enroll the 99% and more of the 1%.
I went down to Occupy Congress on #J17 to get some pics... hung out by the media cars/trucks.
We are at work on a Google Doc with strategies to enroll the "anologuers" - the non or less- connected. I will add the link here when it's done... looking for SUGGESTIONS!
There's some newer Social Media that we're trying -…

I tweeted earlier about the show BONES - this week's episode featured a "Homicidal - insane - computer genius - criminal - (self-described) hacktivist".........
this is how "they" devalue (perhaps co-opt?) activism............
they show occupiers vandalizing on one show (CSI)...........
they have an undercover agent acting "crazy" by shouting " I am the 99%" (NCIS).........
"THEY" are engaged at an entirely different level than those of us who are challenging…

(there were TWO Original choices - marked - the voters added all the choices in between... the numbers for all are not very significant - the top got the most (90+) and fewer as you go down the list until the other ORIGINAL choice which got 0 as of now - which is more about the way i wrote it…

Occupy Media Survey said… Gen
My name is TJ, and I am working with a team on a research project titled "Occupy Media Survey!" at Uppsala University in Sweden. The leading professor on the project, Christian Fuchs is also the chair of the European Sociological Association's Research Network for Communications and Media Research.
The project attempts to answer some of the following questions: What is the role of social media like Occupii, Facebook and Twitter in occupations and protests? Was the Arab spring a "Twitter and Facebook" revolution? How does the Occupy movement use social media? Is it a social media movement or something different?
Therefore we are conducting the OccupyMedia! Survey. We invite some users of Occupii to participate in it, and would be extremely happy if you could take 15 minutes time in order to help us find out what role social media play in contemporary protests:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/WG7JRG2
If you have any more questions about the survey, please contact us. If you do not find time to participate, then please simply ignore our request and excuse any inconvenience. Thanks a lot!
Further information about social media research and the background of this survey can be found in this article:
http://occupynewsnetwork.co.uk/why-social-media-research-matters-for-occupy/
If you find this survey to be useful, then it would be great if you can also tell others about it.
Best, TJ with Occupy Media Survey

I was just endiing a campaign in Michigan against our Governor, and wondered what more was out there, what more can I do to help make my country the place I used to love, when I stumbled across a thing called Livestream, where people with the same purpose (supposedly) or like mindness could come together, chat, discuss, plan, and act and I was to say the least, excited. I started chatting and made so many friends and it was then I realized, that I had been wrapped up in my own small…
