Hello Everyone,
I know of at least -ONE- overnight camp still going ...
Are there any others??? Would a map of these camps be effective or detrimental???
Reason being: We should re-enforce those camps that are still going, IMO. What do you think?

A move that I personally did not agree with, but c'est la guerre. While I support the Occupy movement, the local chapter is personally very disappointing for a variety of reasons. However, they're there.

I guess I am more curious as to who is still going and who is not. It seems that the local police departments and local city governments are showing what side they are on by how they are choosing to handle this movement.

Permalink Reply by From_Boston on January 2, 2012 at 22:27 I know that there's a camp in New Haven, CT that's still running strong, 50-60 people stay overnight.

Permalink Reply by pqxzyvr on January 4, 2012 at 0:47 Occupy DC is still at McPherson Square as far as I'm aware. There's another group occupying nearby but don't know much about them, they weren't initially a part of occupy but I think they've taken up the overall cause. Someone may know more than I.

Permalink Reply by Justice James Snyder on January 4, 2012 at 5:50 Occupy Boise is going strong, as well. The lack of cold weather (although not an overall good sign) has been helpful to keeping people active.

Permalink Reply by Michele Riddell on January 4, 2012 at 21:08 I think it is a great idea to make a map of every camp still going.,,, and what about new ones forming? New Paltz NY was welcomed by the Village Hall. Clevelands city council voted in the occupiers too, as far as I recall.

I was just endiing a campaign in Michigan against our Governor, and wondered what more was out there, what more can I do to help make my country the place I used to love, when I stumbled across a thing called Livestream, where people with the same purpose (supposedly) or like mindness could come together, chat, discuss, plan, and act and I was to say the least, excited. I started chatting and made so many friends and it was then I realized, that I had been wrapped up in my own small…
