4th UK National Occupy Conference - Southend 13th-14th-15th April 2012 (correct dates)

Hi All

I'm working on the Agenda for the 4th National Conference, would like to hook up with others in the UK groups/movement to better Inform the agenda.  It is a collaborative effort and there is a online Piratepad set up to achieve this.

Hi Symon :)

I have hard a lot about this date in relation to it being the 6th month anniversary of the majority of Occupy camps in the world - each camp celebrating its founding. Would it be really difficult to move this NC to the following week or other? Maximum attendance would be great and I think lots of us will want to be, where we were, on October 15th 2011.

So looking forward to another National Conference :)

Hi Tina,

Unfortunately i have no way of changing the date to coincide with the 6 month anniversary but we will be sure to celebrate nonetheless. Are you part of a UK Occupy Group?

Would be good to see you at the conference :).

Feel free to contact me anytime.

Really glad you're coming along with a delegation.  Will keep in touch. Please take a look at the collaborative piratepad document for the conference and feel free to edit! http://piratepad.net/CKfEJYREa1

Symon

Hi all,

The 4th National Conference dates are actually Friday 13th April, Saturday 14th April and Sunday 15th April so I'm going to start a new thread going. Pirate Pad isn't working to well at the moment. Thanks to Symon for his work on it.

Thank you all at Occupy Southend.  Sorry about the confusion over dates :).

Message to ALL correct dates have now been added to the title of this Discussion :)

Hi Symon

I would like some discussion about promoting and supporting "Ambassadors", for the movement, everywhere around the country. Their role would be to dissseminate information from Occupii in their locality. This way we will be taking power back from the 1% and their friends in the media.

Arvind

Hi Arvind,

that's what i and others are already doing in our respective regions and nationwide.  Are you volunteering ;).  Where do you live.

Solidarity

Symon

Have included ambassadors Arvind - so can discuss current situ there

Thanks Symond. I live in London and I am involved in the critical thinking group. Info. on wiki.

What are the arrangements for Southend? Have still not seen the agenda, What about accommodation. Any recommendations.

Regards

Arvind

The Importance Of Reverse Phone Lookup.

phone number search

The first three digits of the phone number would also help them locate the owner of the phone number. The thing is that if they had just run a phone number lookup, they could have found each other! Before you get any ideas, let me tell you that these sites are perfectly legal and also offer their services free of cost. This happens to many different people all over the world and many of them don't know how they can identify these pranksters. It's extremely… Continue

We are supposed to be in this together!

I was just endiing a campaign in Michigan against our Governor, and wondered what more was out there, what more can I do to help make my country the place I used to love, when I stumbled across a thing called Livestream, where people with the same purpose (supposedly) or like mindness could come together, chat, discuss, plan, and act and I was to say the least, excited. I started chatting and made so many friends and it was then I realized, that I had been wrapped up in my own small…
