WARNING: May contain opinions
This is a research group for people to explore and swap information: news articles, corporate activity, policy analyses and ideas for raising the concern of the legislation.
Who are the government contractors? What facilities are available to facilitate the enactment of sections of these acts? Why now? Who is covering these stories in the media?
As most of us know now, the developments in the US are of concern. In 2004 the UK government bought in the Civil Contingency Act that has some parallels.
All are welcome to add to the discussion and research. Half the problem is is that we are not informed and are unaware of the law, how governments spend and the agreements and plans of the 1%.
The aim of this working group is to produce articles, press releases and media to highlight abuse of power and create international solidarity with Occupy contributors that could face indefinite detention for their beliefs.

This subject area is highly emotive and it seems that news papers in Britain (accept the guardian) are too scared to address it, there is not enough evidence or the owners have financial interests that could be compromised. Of course it could be the owners agree with such measures. It could be all of the above or none of the above.

I was just endiing a campaign in Michigan against our Governor, and wondered what more was out there, what more can I do to help make my country the place I used to love, when I stumbled across a thing called Livestream, where people with the same purpose (supposedly) or like mindness could come together, chat, discuss, plan, and act and I was to say the least, excited. I started chatting and made so many friends and it was then I realized, that I had been wrapped up in my own small…
