I had been hearing rumours that the occupy LSX, was under psychologial attack from within by specialists in demoralisation.
Not content to sit back and await developments, I urgently aranged a visit to see for myself what was going on.
I found that they had their tea tent closed and a dark oppressive atmosphere around the camp. Having the dispossessed to deal with as well was proving a heavy task. One which I must say they were trying to cope with admirably.
Their morale was and is under attack and it is just as violent as any nightstick the police use.
What we need to do to help them overcome this is
1) get the tea tent opened, so people can once again stop and chat over a cuppa tea, many a convert will be made this way.
2) stop having group chats that are devisive and leaves too many people out of the loop should an idea present itself. It's easy for them to divert a converstation in a small group, yet a lot harder in front of a crowd.
3) Unity, act as one body in all matters arising.
4) question anyone who tries to divert a conversation away from the point, for they do not want you to come to any conclusions.
5) Hug each other and show each other the sign of Love, this bonding undoes all of their hard work.
6) If you are a supporter of the movement, then help on a friday night would be appreciated, to deal with the usual weekends fall-out.
7) Sing and be merry, keep your spirits up, watch your brethren, to see to their spirits too.
8) Be Positive in all you do
9) Light a brazier to keep the watchmen warm during their long night vigil.
10) Hold the GA outside, for it will attract the passing crowd, only go inside when its raining, Holding the GA around midday, when it is warmest should not be too uncomfortable. They want you inside a tent where nobody hears you.
Well thats my thoughts, I guess the other occupy sites may be under similar threat, so watch your backs guys and any ideas on how we can add cheer to the camps would be a great help.

Trying to set something up so I and everyone else could send them funds in a convenient and secure way. If we could get this working, we could start looking out for each other financially. Be our own banks!! Our money!!! Will keep you posted ...
Permalink Reply by pearshapeduniverse on January 16, 2012 at 6:55am coz this is a decentralised movement we do need to be careful not to put too much pressure on the sites... LSX watchers and chatters are coming up with good ideas but WE must implement the ideas STREET by STREET and OCCUPII all the UK. The lsx site is a focal point and the LSX streams are a good place for everyone to send in programs about whats happening in their STREET, not just the LSX and Finsbury sites

i wonder if this might fit using the post office envelope scheme, most in uk have access to a post office although many no longer have a local bank after they trimmed their sails.

I was just endiing a campaign in Michigan against our Governor, and wondered what more was out there, what more can I do to help make my country the place I used to love, when I stumbled across a thing called Livestream, where people with the same purpose (supposedly) or like mindness could come together, chat, discuss, plan, and act and I was to say the least, excited. I started chatting and made so many friends and it was then I realized, that I had been wrapped up in my own small…
