On the bus ride from Houston to Trenton I had an idea in ref to Occupy media crews, specifically streamers and in a brief chat on mumble tonight I got it hammered a bit flatter with some great input from those left from the GRT.

The initial idea was to have each streamer with 2 phones, 1 dedicated strictly to streaming and the other for comms with a coordinator at 'base camp' with base camp being relative to each Occupation. The coordinator would use a modification of niteinjails chat widget with vid feeds from streamers instead of chat channels so the coordinator could direct streamers towards or away from action as needed. I thought of this idea after watching a streamer lose her camera and ask for help tracking it down. Because of the lack of coordination I don't know if she was able to get it back or not.

In the mumble chat a modification to the general idea was suggested that I agree with wholeheartedly. Streamers should have a partner, that partners job would be to stay on contact with Base Camp Coordinator and help direct the streamer either towards an action or event or away from a danger or in case of equipment being jacked, help track it down.
