My Scientific Spirituality or should that be my Spiritual Science?
A great man once said “Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.” I for one believe in that. I also believe in the power of spirituality and follow ways quite witchy. I know in my heart who I am so don't feel the need to explain it. However my belief system has often baffled others. How can I believe in Science and Spirituality, surely they are opposites? I say they stand side by side and hand in hand. I believe between both there lies truth. I follow my own path, I always have, but I would love to hear your thoughts and views on how these systems either got together or oppose eachother. Although I know many people on here don't like media and television but I have seen many a film that has provoked an emotion in me (and yes, that is science too, I studied a little neurology). In "Powder" the Physics Professor suggested the evolution of man would lead us to become pure energy. Over the years many civilisations have used energy in teachings and healings, Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Yoga, Reiki and many, many others. So to those who believe science is rubbish, if we are of a consciousness and we create science, science is spirituality. To the scientist who believe their is no room in science for spirituality I ask why you would think so, science itself is based upon hypotheses and experimentation and with advancement we have proved many "facts" as falsities.

Hi Nancy, I think there are plenty of places to go to discuss spirituality. Mumble is a good place to go and talk and has many different rooms. There are so many people here who come from varying backgrounds and have an equally varied view on spirituality. Don't lose hope, not matter what happens you are still you, they can't take your soul! I have often felt lost in my life but eventually pull strength from experiences that my grandparents had and knowing that I am part of them and can be strong like they were.

there is a blank point or a lagoon between science and spirituality; that my friend is something that we know but forget...because what matters is that things get done, with this or that...and with none at all, so, at the end its just a man-made universe(the way we perceive it) to see that we dont have any control off it, and if we do, then its science, and spirituality if we dont, its not spirituality, nor science...but at least i took some elements our of the equation, or not... because its not our problem to differentiate them from each other but to work with what we have and do something with them...
