Thus far, IMHO [and to great sadness], the Occupy Movement has not come back with a roar this Spring...there have been some actions, but few on the scale of the prior period. The Powers That Be have long had a secret and not so secret agenda to infiltrate and destroy OWS - they see it as the biggest threat there is, worldwide....if that surprises you, you are naive. They'd never say that, and give lip service to some fo the ideals of the movement, but ask it join in the 'debate' within the 'system'...not from outside. Inside OWS and its ideals can not operate, can only be co-opted and destroyed, IMO. So, much is planned for today and I think much will hang on the size and success of today. I have long said [and long been generally ignored] that those who do NOT study how past movements were destroyed will only allow this one to be destroyed in the same way. Many of you are young and think this is 'different'. It is and it is not. The techniques used to destroy progressive movements and challenges to the status quo have NOT changed, at all!...learn the lessons of history...or be doomed to repeat them [and loose]. An old had at progressive change - wishing and wanting this movement to succeed and not fail. At the moment it is holding its own, but just barely - and it is loosing public and media attention. It must grow and grow fast - or it will go the way of other movements before it. Consider yourselves warned, even if you don't like the tone of my warning. It is written with the utmost respect for all the hard and innovative work thus far and hopes for a real revolution of ideas, new paradigms and totally different societal structures and values.
