EMOTIONAL AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT MUMBLE ROOM

... Is a room created in the mumble server for those with disabilities to lend and receive support as they need. It's not a 'program' - not a 'show' - this is not a streamed 'event' ... it is a safe space created for no other purpose than to be among peers who understand the pressures and difficulties faced by those of us who are living with disabilities. Those who care for, and care about the disabled are welcome and are offered the same support and friendship & solidarity.
If you come in and the room is empty - don't despair! Someone will see you and we'll join you, or at the worst, you can come find us and we're happy to hang out and chat.

There are those on mumble at all hours in all continents (well, maybe not all, but many) who are ready and happy to help with setting up the program so you can be a part of the group.

Once a week, we're going to hold a general meeting - when all the people who use the room all week can get together at the same time to discuss issues pursuant to those with disabilities, share experiences - whatever is required at the time. If you're interested in participating, we'd love to see you join in.
