The monthly payments to keep Occupii.org going have, for the last year, been sourced from the administrators and contributions from some members. This support is much appreciated and can not be celebrated enough.
Occupii.org is an advert free zone. In order to keep this space free of corporate sponsors and/or adverts, we need to draw attention to the on-going costs of keeping this site available and ask for your help where, if and when possible.
In requesting this support from the community we also want to be clear that no member need feel that they are being asked to give what they don't have, or that they will be thought of as less valuable because they are unable to help out with the maintenance costs.
The monthly amount is £40. If 20 of us donated £2 a month for example, it would be covered.
Please donate/help if you can.
No amount is too small.

Occupy Person Arrested and Charged With Felonies for Free Speech!

David C. Gorczynski, of Pennsylvania's Occupy movements, was arrested and charged with two felonies for holding two signs: one saying “You’re being robbed” and another that said “Give a man a gun, he can rob a bank. Give a man a bank, and he can rob a country.” Gorczunski is being charged with bank robbery and "terroristic threatening". He was released on $10,000 bail. Felonies for Free Speech!Continue

I remember the 'good old days' when nearly every day there was an important and exciting Occupy livefeed to watch. I remember when this site started and all the excitement.
